If you're around and want to mess with all of the random UMS games people have been putting up, Ag and I are looking for some more people (taft and stun bitched out). Hop in my vent.

Playing everything from Tower D to the million different types of survival maps that are already published.

yea, a couple good games of OMFG Zerglings as well as some nice random ass poker TD. we obviously need 14 people for max players EVOLVE.

I'm pretty fucking impressed. Before this I had no idea that the editor was able to do custom graphical effects like the depth of field. Combined with some other maps people have made with decent physics, I'm convinced we're going to see maps that are close to full-fledged games. Really, it's not just a map editor this time around, it's a full game engine.

Hopefully this is true but Blizzard is putting file size restrictions for UMS custom maps. I believe the restriction is 10Mb max per custom map and 25Mb per account total for the beta. Hopefully Blizzard will raise the limit or allow certain high-end designers some method of getting more space for solid projects. I forgot where I read about the restrictions but I am pretty sure they are still in place.
